Nikola Tesla (born July 9-10, 1856, Smiljan, Austrian Empire [now in Croatia]—died January 7, 1943, New York, New York, U.S.), Serbian American Inventor and Engineer
It has been a passion of mine to play drums and live my life in a music career. As a member of the band called Tesla it has taken me to another passion that I would not have imagined as a child. My education was limited through unhealthy choices throughout my adolescence. Today I not only study music but I research and educate myself with other important aspects of the world such as history, philosophy, health, science and anything that can bring me wisdom in it’s highest form. It has led me to whom I consider a hero to the world that lived a selfless life in order to bring quality life to others. Through his great mind and gift of knowledge many of us could only imagine to tap into other than possess, Nikola Tesla brought not only cutting edge inventions but also a witty and enlightening philosophy filled with wisdom and inspiration for generations to come. Nikola Tesla truly was a “Man Out of Time”
Nikola Tesla discovered and patented the rotating magnetic field, the basis of most alternating-current machinery. He also developed the three-phase system of electric power transmission. He immigrated to the United States in 1884 and sold the patent rights to his system of alternating-current dynamos, transformers, and motors to George Westinghouse. In 1891 he invented the Tesla coil, an induction coil widely used in radio technology.
