Troy Shows Up is an educational program that we are currently taking into the schools through out the United States. The speaker is Troy Luccketta, known as the drummer from the band called Tesla. Throughout Troy’s tour for 2019 he will be stepping into nearby schools and sharing his message. The program will be a testimony by Troy of overcoming his childhood challenges, peer pressure and people pleasing mentality. Troy’s unique style, although he shares the grim consequences of addiction and how it can devastate ones life and family, he also resonates inspiration that one can rise above their circumstances with a positive mind set. Troy’s philosophy of life is to study your passion in order to prepare for success and when opportunity arises “show up”. Whether it’s the school drum line or Troy jamming on his drums he offers an upbeat approach to life’s challenges through music and his testimony. “Everyone is deserving of success and it’s up to you to seize the moments you have in life by applying yourself in education and participation”. We are dedicated to increasing the prevention of substance use and promotion of mental and physical health.
In additions to the message of “Troy Shows Up and So Should You”, we are bringing the message of our A-Song4Wellness, founded by Troy Luccketta, a website of information for awareness for wellness. In order to support these much needed messages freely to the schools all donations contributed go to the costs of expenses incurred for travel, staff, and literature.
Sponsors are the primary source of funding for this program and will help ensure its success.
